Lea cooks dinner when Shaun arrives home to tell her about his new lawyer, Joni DeGroot, who has OCD, a novice lawyer but smart; Joni tells her sister over the phone as she arrives home about taking over Janet's case; Both Lea and Abbie attempt to analyze what the situation means because of Joni's involvement in the case. 
(Flashback) Janet wins Abbie and Joni's case reuniting them with their mother; (Present) Joni, Abbie, Shaun, Lea, Aaron, Janet and Alex wait for the verdict to be announced; Janet tells Joni that she's a good lawyer; Joni and Abbie tell their mother about Joni's win; Joni, Shaun, Lea, Abbie and Alex celebrate together at a bar; Shaun and Joni test Bob's hand to know if Shaun was right to amputate.
